How did you get involved with Roller Derby?

I posted on a Yahoo! board looking to start a league in CT after I moved out here from Chicago. Jenghis Kahn contacted me to let me know that CTRG was formed just 4 weeks earlier. I've been here ever since.

How did you decide on your Derby alias?

I was a waitress in a fancy pants restaurant and often imagined using the giant pepper mill as a weapon against the rude, elitist patrons I served. It came to me as I was cracking pepper on a particularly cantankerous woman's organic mixed green salad, dressing on the side.

Your favorite thing about Roller Derby?

"Strategery" & comraderie

Worst injury?

Childbirth: May 2008 & September 2009...still recovering!

HOOOOUUUUUH! as I hit someone.
